Barrow 1618 CofE Primary Free School

http://www.barrow1618school.co.uk/

Our unique, innovative curriculum centres on learning opportunities presented by the natural environment and learning through 'hands-on' experience. We champion the highest academic standards and progress, whilst recognising that every child will have strengths, interests and talents in different areas. We will look for, identify, fulfil and extend our children’s potential, wherever that lies, to provide an educational experience they’ll remember for a lifetime.

Ellesmere College

http://www.ellesmere.com/

We take pride in the achievements of each and every student according to his or her abilities, not just in the achievements of the brightest and the best.

Ellesmere College takes academic achievement very seriously, as well as the arts, music, drama and sport - we work hard to maintain a balance.

We are proud to have achieved Platinum Artsmark Status, awarded by Arts Council England. This recognises the College's commitment to providing professional levels of cultural activity to both its students and to the wider community. Ellesmere College was the first Independent School in England to achieve this award.

Gobowen Primary School

http://gobowenschool.co.uk/index.html

The arts and culture are of central importance to our school in terms of our school values. In terms of teaching and learning we believe that the arts and culture develop creative and expressive well rounded learners. Through imaginative experiences children are able to express and communicate their individuality. Our creative and varied staff embrace and value the arts and culture in their teaching. The creative curriculum we provide is built upon developing self-esteem, deeper thinking skills, curiosity, cultural awareness, tolerance, respect and resilience to enable children to flourish and grow. Our whole ethos is aimed at developing mastery of skills across the curriculum and beyond school. Children are able to express themselves through a range of media and value different interpretations.

Greenacres Primary School

We provide a wide range of learning opportunities and challenges for all children, whatever their abilities. We want children to value their own achievements, both personal and academic, and also to celebrate the success of others. We help children to improve their skills and abilities through determination and perseverance, and be prepared to work to the best of their abilities.

As an Arts Award centre we engage the children in a large range of mixed media. This enables them to broaden their experiences and enhance their knowledge and understanding of the world.

Youth for Chirst

http://s-yfc.org/

Shrewsbury Youth for Christ is a charity dedicated to bringing good news to young people. Our varied projects support young people’s development through arts, sport, food and faith-based activities.

Music projects make up a large portion of the work we do. These include our youth gospel choir, music mentoring programme and student open mic nights. We create opportunities to see young people grow and flourish in their creativity.
